Sweet September!

Happy Autumn to all my Cheryl's Caramels fans! It's been a fun-filled relaxing summer, but now it's time for all the fabulous Fall festivals and events here in San Diego county. And These two September events are just the beginning of all the fun! 2015 logoFirst we have the best Oktoberfest in north county, the Encinitas Oktoberfest on Sunday, September 20th from 10:00 - 5:00 located off of El Camino Real and Mountain Vista Drive. Last year was a blast and I expect the 2015 Oktoberfest to be even better! FREE PARKING is available at the Flora Vista Elementary School (1690 Wandering Road) with FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE from the parking lot to the Oktoberfest site. The event entertainment feature The Bluebirds, a German-American Band, Bavarian dancers and a street craft faire featuring over 200 vendors including artisans with unusual arts and craft items. The family food and refreshment tent will be serving authentic German food and beers from national & local breweries. PROST! harbor days logoNext, the entire weekend of September 26th and 27th will be the fabulous Oceanside Harbor Days! This festival is one of my all time local favorites with an abundance of great entertainment, food, pirates and the ever entertaining Nail & Sail competition. Once again, the red and white striped Cheryl's Caramels market booth will be located on the beach side of the harbor (woo hoo!) Don't miss this great weekend of fun in Oceanside. 1-IMG_1208And of course, every Thursday evening Cheryl's Caramels will be on the corner of Civic Civic Center Drive and N. Tremont Street for Oceanside's famous Sunset Market Street Fair from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. With the summer rush coming to an end, this is my favorite time of year at the Sunset Market. Temperatures are cooling down, and the entire town seems to relax a bit. Last, but far from least, I'd like to take this opportunity once again to thank you all for another great summer of sharing my goodies with you all. THANK YOU!!!
