Cheryl's Caramels is super excited to introduce a new "limited edition" caramel for Fall - Butterscotch! Butterscotch is one of the world's most popular flavors and wait until you taste this heart warming flavor in one of my amazing creamy caramel candies! I fondly remember my Grandmother slipping me a Butterscotch candy now and again, and the flavor and aroma of this beloved confection has been lovingly passed on into this new yummy delight. Still no preservatives, still real food, my Butterscotch caramels will be sure to bring a smile to your face... And of course, Fall would not be complete without Pumpkin Pie and Gingerbread! So now, through the holidays, my ever so popular Pumpkin Pie and Gingerbread Caramels will be available. Made with my "secret" blend of spices, these caramels were a HUGE hit last season, so now is your chance to enjoy these delightful caramels. Cheryl's Caramels is already taking orders for custom caramel treats for the holidays, and the Butterscotch, Pumpkin Pie and Gingerbread flavors are in high demand. These "limited edition" caramels will only be available through the 2015 holiday season, so get'em while you can...

Happy Autumn to all my Cheryl's Caramels fans! It's been a fun-filled relaxing summer, but now it's time for all the fabulous Fall festivals and events here in San Diego county. And These two September events are just the beginning of all the fun! First we have the best Oktoberfest in north county, the Encinitas Oktoberfest on Sunday, September 20th from 10:00 - 5:00 located off of El Camino Real and Mountain Vista Drive. Last year was a blast and I expect the 2015 Oktoberfest to be even better! FREE PARKING is available at the Flora Vista Elementary School (1690 Wandering Road) with FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE from the parking lot to the Oktoberfest site. The event entertainment feature The Bluebirds, a German-American Band, Bavarian dancers and a street craft faire featuring over 200 vendors including artisans with unusual arts and craft items. The family food and refreshment tent will be serving authentic German food and beers from national & local breweries. PROST! Next, the entire weekend of September 26th and 27th will be the fabulous Oceanside Harbor Days! This festival is one of my all time local favorites with an abundance of great entertainment, food, pirates and the ever entertaining Nail & Sail competition. Once again, the red and white striped Cheryl's Caramels market booth will be located on the beach side of the harbor (woo hoo!) Don't miss this great weekend of fun in Oceanside. And of course, every Thursday evening Cheryl's Caramels will be on the corner of Civic Civic Center Drive and N. Tremont Street for Oceanside's famous Sunset Market Street Fair from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. With the summer rush coming to an end, this is my favorite time of year at the Sunset Market. Temperatures are cooling down, and the entire town seems to relax a bit. Last, but far from least, I'd like to take this opportunity once again to thank you all for another great summer of sharing my goodies with you all. THANK YOU!!!
Boy oh boy, Cheryl's Caramels is busy, busy, busy this summer, and folks are munching up my amazing caramel candy as fast as I can make it! Last week was just wonderful, with two great events at the Old Mission Say Luis Rey. This mission is just a spectacular place. If you are ever in the area, please visit. you won't be sorry! The Old Mission Montessori School's annual craft fair, Christmas in July is always a fun event and this year was no exception. Held under the old trees on the parish grounds, this is the premier event for hand crafted goods. As alumni, I have a special place in my heart for this school fundraiser! Then we had the inaugural FEAST! At Old Mission San Luis Rey. This event was a foodies delight and a HUGE success with over 400 in attendance. Hosted by The Osider Magazine, over 30 local food vendors, restaurants, breweries and wineries treated guests to the best of the best. Cheryl's Caramels handed out over 700 caramels to these lucky folks. Unique to this event was offering attendees their choice of beneficiaries. Bravo gentlemen, Bravo! Of course we have my weekly market, Oceanside's very own Sunset Market and Street Fair held every Thursday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. Folks are treated to this great event from all over the west, and the world! Last night saw valued customers from Arizona to Russia! I've been selling out, so stop by early in the evening to ensure your favorites are still available my sweets! Up next, the world famous Vista BBQ Classic held in historic downtown Vista. This Kansas City BBQ sanctioned event means serious business for these talented teams. Yes, teams! You should see their rigs - you'd swear you were at a NASCAR event.. This "smokin'" event is Sunday, July 25th and Cheryl's Caramels will be offering all my favorites for when you get your sweet tooth on after all that delicious BBQ. Click HERE for details. August brings me heading south. Way south to Chula Vista for two great fairs! The Lemon Festival on Sunday, August 2nd and the Chula Vista Harborfest on Saturday, August 22nd. Time flies when you're having fun, and a very fun year it has been! 2014 blessed me with a crazy full year of business for Cheryl's Caramels. I participated in over 50 farmers markets, around 15 large street fairs and more custom orders than I ever dreamed possible. The most important fact that I have taken away from 2014 is that you all really love my home made caramels. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your patronage, support and friendships! 2015 will bring a few changes and improvements - but not to worry, the caramels will remain exactly the same. Created by me here in my home kitchen in Oceanside, CA. Prepared small batch by small batch. Cured with care. Hand cut and hand wrapped with love... The very first exciting change will be the introduction of 3 new flavors. I've been developing these for a while now in anticipation of the New Year. I do have to say that they are just fabulous and I can't wait for you all to give them a try... First out for January will be "Jasmine Bliss". Jasmine caramels have been popular in New York City for ages, and now you'll be able to experience them for yourself here on the west coast. Cheryl's Caramels has searched high and low and found the perfect certified organic jasmine emulsion. If you like jasmine tea, or just the heavenly scent of jasmine - you will absolutely love these Jasmine Bliss Caramels! These will be offered for sale at the first Oceanside Sunset Market of 2015 on Thursday, January 8th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. I will be retiring Gingerbread and Pumpkin Pie until the next holiday season, but introducing 2 new surprise flavors to take their place soon! Cheryl's Caramels is committed to continue making quality, great tasting caramels at a fair price. I'm seeing lots of other confectioners try to copy Cheryl's Caramels, but customers agree - there is no substitute! I'll be posting my 2015 calendar soon, and look forward to seeing all my loyal customers and fostering new ones... Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!
