Every once in a while, someone shares a fabulous recipe using caramel with us... I will be posting these recipes here for you to try and enjoy! Let's start with an all time favorite. Caramel Apples! Cheryl's Caramel Apples (makes 6) 6 granny smith apples 1 lb. (4 containers) any flavor of Cheryl's Caramels (unwrapped) 2 T. milkcandy apples 2 Directions: 1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Wash & dry the apples, remove stem and insert craft sticks. 3. Put unwrapped caramels into microwave safe bowl with milk and microwave 2 minutes stirring once. Let cool briefly. 4. Roll each apple QUICKLY in caramel mixture and place on baking sheet to cool.   Like those amazing "turtles"? Give this super easy recipe a try! Candy Store Chocolate Turtles 2 cups pecan halves 2 (12 ounce) bags chocolate chips 25 individual Cheryl's Caramels, unwrapped 2 tablespoons water 1/2 cup butter, softened Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Arrange pecans on a baking sheet. Bake pecans in the preheated oven until fragrant and lightly browned, 7 minutes. Melt chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil; grease with butter. Combine Cheryl's Caramels, water, and butter in a saucepan over low heat; cook, stirring occasionally, until caramels are melted and smooth. Fold in pecans. Drop caramel mixture by the spoonful onto the prepared baking sheet. Allow to cool and harden. Drizzle chocolate over caramel nut clusters. Refrigerate to set, about 1 hour. Caramel Apple Bars

Caramel apple bars are all of our favorite fall flavors baked into one satisfying bar. Ingredients for Filling: 2-3 Cups peeled apples cut into 1 inch pieces 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Pinch of ground cloves Dash of nutmeg 1 Tablespoon flour Ingredients For Oatmeal: 1 stick of unsalted butter (set at room temperature 10 minutes prior to using) 1/4 Cup brown sugar (we added a little extra) 1/4 Cup granulated sugar 1 1/2 Cups oats (we prefer to not use quick oats) 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/3 Cup of Cheryl's Caramels melted (we were a bit generous with this measurement as well) Caramel Apple Bars Preheat your oven to 350 F and grease an 8×8 pan. In a medium bowl combine your cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and flour and mix. Combine your chopped apples into your bowl of spices and mix briefly. In a separate bowl combine butter, sugars, oats, and vanilla. Stir the mixture until you have a coarse breadcrumb texture. If you have some larger lumps that will be okay. Pour 2/3 of the oat mixture into your 8×8 pan and press the mixture firmly until level. Pour the spiced apples over the oat mixture then sprinkle the remaining 1/3 of the oat mixture on top of the apples. Place in the oven for 30-40 minutes until light golden brown. Allow your caramel apple bars to cool completely before cutting into squares. Drizzle melted Cheryl's Caramels over the top of the cooled bars
